Hoya krohniana black is a beautiful, small-leafed Hoya (each heart-shaped leaf is about the size of a nickel, perhaps a hair smaller with very dark, nearly black leaves). The fuzz on its fragrant white blooms can sometimes develop a lavender hue! Smells wonderfully sweet similar Hoya lacunosa! Shows best color when grown in bright indirect light, will even love a bit of early morning or late afternoon sun.
A great plant for beginners! They do like temps a little cooler if you want her to bloom.
Light: Bright indirect light/dappled sun, a few hours of morning light is great
Water: Water well when soil is mostly dry. Loves humidity.
Pets: Non-toxic
Well rooted, growing in a 4" pot.
*Color of leaves and blooms will depend on environmental conditions of each individual plant. Individual plants may vary based on stock available.
