Xerographica is a stunning air plant! It has a light, silvery green coloration and fuzzy "flocked" leaves. The fuzzy appearance comes from the tiny specialized cells covering the leaves, called “trichomes” that are capable of rapidly absorbing the water that falls on them? So cool, right?!

Xerographica is a show stopper! It's leaves are wider at the base and narrow into skinny little tips that curl around themselves. And for those of you in Florida, like me, yes - we also need to water these guys! There are a few species native to the Sunshine State but most of the species we buy in plant shops are not native & need more than just natural Florida humidity. So if you’ve had one die on you...that’s likely why! And because they don’t need (or even want) soil, it makes them super simple to display inside or out!

Xerographica are unique among air plants - you can actually control the tightness of the curls! Want a curlier plant? Water every 2 weeks! Want a less curly plant? Water once a week!

The size will vary as each is unique but are generally about 4-6 inches across.

Light: Medium to bright indirect light; indoors or outdoors

Water: Mist or dunk once every 1-2 weeks. Be sure you allow them to dry upside down for a few hours so water does not collect in the crown, which can cause them to rot.

Pets: NON-TOXIC
