This garden pumice is awesome! You can use is so many applications!
SUGGESTED USE: Mix 50% pumice with 50% soil and plant succulents directly into that; if you live somewhere there is a large amount of rainfall, and a layer of pumice on top of soil to catch excess rainwater and prevent overwatering & rot.
Each bag has 5 cups, bag weight may vary but is approximately 1.3 lbs.
Available in 3 pebble sizes - see below for descriptions:
1/8 size" is our the smallest stone, ideal for smaller scale succulents, pups, & anything under 4”. It is best used in small decorative pots & terrariums. It is also perfect to use as a propagating bed, or for better drainage & aeration in any pot/container under 4"-5” in size.
3/16" size is the most versatile stone, perfect for medium-large pots & containers. Typically we recommend the 3/16” size for pots/containers over 4” in size (or over a half gallon). It is also the perfect size to add to your garden beds, whether succulent, vegetable, or herb garden!
3/8” size is the largest size & is great for very large pots or containers, garden beds, aquariums, and tree boxes! **The 3/8" size is especially effective for adding a layer to the bottom of pots & containers that do NOT have drainage holes, to catch excess water that may sit around the roots, and cause root rot!
