Hoya are easy to care for if given the proper conditions! Like all hoyas, these plants like to dry out well between watering. When the soil is dry and it's time to water, you should thoroughly soak the potting media. Water until all the soil is saturated and all excess water drains away through the drainage hole. ALWAYS plant Hoya in pots with drainage holes! You can water even less in the winter when growing slows (and sometimes halts).

Speaking of pots, Hoya like to be root-bound. You should not place them in a huge pot. When it is time to repot, go up only one pot size - meaning when it's time to repot this plant (currently in a 4" pot) only go up to a 6" pot.

Hoya want a quick draining soil - use a light and airy potting mix, such as cactus and succulent soil, with added perlite or pumice for increased drainage.

Light: Place in bright, medium or low light, indoors or out. A little direct morning sun can make your Hoya happy, too!
Water: Allow soil to dry between waterings.
